I wrote last week about Seacombe Netto’s stock issues and problems finding a buyer. I’ve just received information that the store is to close on September 30th.

September 3 – 11 is Wirral’s annual Heritage Open Days event.
Plenty of Seacombe based buildings and activities are involved, including Wallasey Town Hall and a heritage walk from Seacombe Ferry to Vale Park.

The Heritage Open Days provides visitors and residents with nine fantastic days of Wirral’s important culture, history and heritage. From historic buildings and guided walks, to places of worship and wonderful gardens, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
